Habakkuk 3:14-16

New American Standard Bible

¹⁴ You pierced with his ^(A)own ^[a]arrows
The head of his ^[b]leaders.
They ^(B)stormed in to scatter ^[c]us;
Their arrogance was like those
Who ^(C)devour the oppressed in secret.
¹⁵ You ^(D)trampled on the sea with Your horses,
On the ^(E)foam of many waters.

¹⁶ I heard, and my ^[d]inner parts ^(F)trembled;
At the sound, my lips quivered.
Decay enters my ^(G)bones,
And in my place I tremble;
Because I ^[e]must ^(H)wait quietly for the day of distress,
^[f]For the ^(I)people to arise who will attack us.
